Objective: launch a high-altitude balloon carrying my broadcast transmitter over three counties at noon. From the sky, my coronation address will beam to every radio below at once. No waiting room, no inbox, no Dave. The forecast is clear, the wind is calm, and the sky has been notified.

Released! Also, the sky just changed its mind!

A storm came from nowhere! The wind took the balloon sideways! It is going very fast in the wrong direction! It passed a cloud, a water tower, and a very surprised bird!
[WEATHER ALERT]: Severe thunderstorm warning for the county. Gusts to 60 mph. Seek shelter indoors.

My transmitter is seeking shelter in another state.

Update! It landed in a cornfield two counties away! A farmer found it! He hung the transmitter on his barn as a decoration! He says it looks festive!
